Question about registering on job sites?

I've signed up to them all, Total Jobs, Monster, Reed etc etc and uploaded my CV. Now as you's will know I am retraining with the Open Uni as I am looking out of my current career. The problem I am facing is today for example I got an email from a guy at Reed looking to know if I was interested in a job as a carpenter, As I say I am looking away from it and am looking into I.T, the jobs wasn't exactly local anyways some 40 miles away but thats not the issue, its that this happens quite regular.
So how do I fix this? All my previous experience I guess is within joinery/carpentry/cabinet making and I am listed on these sites as a carpenter etc due to previous jobs.
I do have some I.T qualifications at this stage which would probably get me something entry level.

The chap at reed must have run a keyword search, and your name popped up, that will continue to happen until you have more IT keywords in your CV, pepper your CV with IT terminology and you should start appearing in IT role searches.
These days the first hurdle of job finding is getting past the keyword search algorithms.0 -
never input personal details like address or phone number, keep your cv private not only employers can see it, but also scammers and spammers too.0

Whats the problem? You must have key words on your CV like 'carpenter' etc
If you do not want to be contacted for these roles take the words off your CV/profile of hide the CV/profile so you can not be searched for. We’ve had to remove your signature.
