Have I been scammed? Same Day Loans

Options
Hello experts,

Yesterday morning I applied for a loan with jacksamedayloans.co.uk (found them in google) and have been waiting since then for the money to arrive in my account. There suppose to be same day loans but I haven't received the money yet!? It's been well over 24 hours now. Have I been scammed? They do after all have my debit card details now

Ive tried contacting them through their contact page but had no reply as of yet. Starting to get a little worried. Has anyone ever heard of this company? I feel a bit daft I didn't do my homework now. Luckily Im not to desperate for the money I just don't want to fall victim to fraud or identity theft.

No contact details, no address and no company registration number on their website.. and probably no lending licence.

Need I say more? Cancel your card!

I agree, cancel your card asap.
Sounds like they are a broker that pass on your details to other loan companies but then charge for the priviledge even though nobody ever gets a loan, false promises.

Keep a close eye on your account.

Even from looking at the website, you can see it's amateur, I wouldn't even go as far as Brokers kerry87, I think it's a matter of 'getting as many valid card details as possible'.

LOL @ their "website". Here are some extracts LOLOL

"Here at Jack's we try to be as straightforward and convenient as possible, we know you probably already know everything there is too about same day loans so lets not bother you with all that rubbish and start your application now"

" Start your application today and stick the finger upto to those tiresome bills"

" When life throws out cash emergencies it doesn't tend to adhere to the working hours of banks"

What a pathetic website, and yes OP I would cancel your card as it is probably a scam site to harvest your details.

:rotfl: I didn't even clock them... Haha!!!
  • The website looks like a Blogger page. Scary how websites like these can operate without regulation.

    Cancel the card!

The domain was registered on 13/03 to an individual in Fife (possibly fake details).

As others have said - no contact details, no CCL.

Also a look at http://jacksamedayloans.co.uk/support/ shows that the content was copied from another site and the idiots didn't even bother to change the site name. Same page also says they use SSL, but the application form is standard http.

Completed form forwards to a site by the name of WageDayAdvance.
