Free second life

If you're bored on a wet sunday afternoon - here's a bit of free entertainment http://secondlife.com/whatis/
A virtual world - where you can create your own character, fly about, talk to people, etc... It's free and unusual

I couldn't get into it myself. Everytime I found anything that might make it interesting I was told this cost x amount of credits. You can pick up a free house but then you are stuck carrying it around with you because it is useless until you purchase some land to put it on.

It really turned out to not be free at all and I lost interest :(

Heheh I've tried firstlife to. It's impossible to level up without a job but I can't get a job until I level up, I can't afford a house, I don't have wings and I can't fly, sex is gooey, my individuality is frowned upon by other avatars, I can't trade with other players without incurring huge penalties from the gamesmasters, upgrading my characters attributes is uber-expensive, maiming other players will result in imprisonment, I'm not allowed to have scary monsters as pets and my ability to dance naked in public without the shame debuff has been removed. :rotfl:

have been playing but does get a bit boring after a while.

I did read somewhere that a woman divorced her husband for have sex on second life. she and the courts classed it as being unfaithfull. I had to laugh about it all.
