Mortgage term query

We have come to the end of our fixed rate mortgage with Halifax. We are looking at remortgaging to try and get a better deal but hubby is concerned as he doesn't want to extend the term of the mortgage. We have 21 years left on a 25 year mortgage.
Is it possible to get a remortgage deal yet keep our existing 21 year term?
(please go easy with me - I don't normally deal with the mortgage but hubby is snowed out at work so I thought I'd try and help!!) :):)

    Yes. Put the term you want on the application form.
