Kitchen Door Replacement

Hi Everyone

Thinking of updating our kitchen doors as they look v dated (would have painted them but they look distinctively 80's)

so was wondering if anyone had recommendations for companies in belfast who do this?

I would like someone to come in, measure, and fit them

i have found a company- oakland doors- but have no idea as to their quality.

kr

Depends on the quality you are after. They're just doors they just need to look nice. The hinges can be re-used.

Kitchen doors are fairly standard sizes. 500mm or 600mm. You could easily measure the width and height yourself.

If you wanted to do it cheaply then buy them from a DIY store and hire a labourer for the day to fit them.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

If you are thinking of The Spray Doctor from Randalstown, he is amazing. He turned my black pit of a kitchen into a light airy modern place. I was worried that the spray paint would not cover the black sufficiently but it does and is strong and wipe able.

Will be watching this thread myself. We need our doors tidied up or replaced as well.

Can I ask what this cost?

I could tell you but it would be skewed by the fact that he replaced the skirting boards, fitted a new back to some shelves, installed a cooker hood and that I actually had the cupboard carcasses and top lighting shelf sprayed, not my doors. They all had to be taken off and the inside of the cupboards masked before spraying then rehung.
I recall him saying the average kitchen was about £700. I at least doubled that but no point telling me I could have got a new kitchen for that money. This is a biggish kitchen with lots of tricky bits in it.
