    Hi Lynsay
I think I'm ready to jump back on the wagon this week. Allowing for only one session of physiotherapy (I hope!) I'll try to stay under £50 this week. Too high by loads, but I'd rather succeed than fail!

    Think twice before spending anything!

    Hi Lynsayjane and co. :T

Lysayjane thanks for continuing to run the gauntlet in Moozie's absence, you're doing a great job.

I haven't spent anything today and I've just completed my first 10k run! I'm feeling very righteous. I came 7th from last with a time of 1hour 9 mins. I was quite pleased with that.

I managed to stay under budget this week at £22.05

This week's budget will be £50, my sister's baby is due this week, so I'll be buying exciting baby things. And I'm off to Edinburgh at the weekend.

Hi LJ - I find it difficult to post during the week, but I haven't abandoned the challenge - honestly. I am, only just, managing to stick to my £40 target - it is difficult when my new colleagues keep inviting me to the pub, but I've managed to decline without upsetting them - we have one session on Thursday, after work, which costs me about £15.00 - thank heaven for Wetherspoons  .
Otherwise, my spending is around £2 a day on lunchtime sandwich (can't make my own, as am in B&B) - Coffees are free :j :j - and a £10 Oystercard top-up. Friday I bought a bottle of water, for the train journey, at WHS - should have been £1.32, but if I bought The Independent, for 70p, the water was free. I've suddenly become an avid reader of The Independent - till the promotion runs out, of course.
Based on the fact that I had £2.60 left, from the £40 that I started the week with, my spend last week was £37.40. :T
So please put me down for £40 again this week - Thanks.
PS - Don't give up on the thread, please. What would Moozie say?

    Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been doing the challenges recently, nothing to do with you lynsayjane.

Had family staying with us that have finally left thank god but not before breaking our washing machine and denying all responsibility (after all it's not their washing machine the SIL points out). So have extra bills and a new washing machine to buy this weekend. Also I went to a fab concert on Friday and spent £77.75 on memorabilia (£1.75 for taking cash out of a cash machine), £9 in parking fees and £30 on dinner.

I won't join this weeks challenge because I just spent over £300 on tiles today. Sigh...

Hi lynsayjane - afraid I'm on the naughty chair this week :p . My budget was £35 and I spent £52, BUT after we had been to court for the trial of our burglars, DH and I treated ourselves to Pizza Hut :o , this is what took us over!

This week, I still need petrol, so budget will be £30

Hi all, miss you guys :(

Reporting in, spent much less than £27.50 - think it was £3.60 on parking and that's it :D

This week, lots of work... so £10 probably on parking
