I find that the Sanctaury bath products make my skin very dry and itchy
Take it back to Boots and see if you can exchange it for something else

I got the free santuary moisturiser (Times offer) and it made my face spotty black heads which I haven't had for 30 years so stopped using it. Also the body spritz thingy which i got free or nearly free with some vouchers smelt foul. I haven't had any trouble with the bath soak though.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I love the orange sanctuary body wash and creamy body wash but didn't like the body lotion - if I rubbed my eyes after I'd used it it made them sting - it has ginger or something in!!0 -
Just back from my local Boots. Sunday is never a good day there. My favourite SA not in either. I ended up paying at the pharmacy...big mistake! SA said I couldn't use mag voucher on pk of 6 poo tabs. She said mag voucher only works with pk of 12. I wanted to say " it works with any size pk because I've already 'bought' loads of 'em" but instead I said "I think it works with any size pk" She was having none of it though and asked if I'd like to swop them for pk12. However, I didn't realise until I'd left the store, she had swopped 2x6 pks for 1x12pk...aarrgghh! I was too busy fumbling in my bag for vouchers when she swopped the pks over, so I didn't notice at the time. That will teach me to pay attention in future! oh well, what's 2.29 at least I gained 100p with AC voucher.
Bought lots of reduced botanics stuff on buy 1 get 1 1/2 price (till didn't take half of original price off though, as someone said previously. Maybe 'cos all the items had barcoded stickers on them?) and used 1.00 off botanics foot and leg spray voucher. Also got 2x botanics foot soak and 2xfoot butter. Paid 3.83 for all 6 items.
No small smile mouthwash or toothwhitening kits left, so I bought 3x whitening toothpaste and 3x basic mouthwash and used 100p voucher.
I also managed to use the 3.00 Olay voucher on some cleansing wipes@4.99 so only paid 1.99 for them. Lucky for me, SA didn't notice the voucher was for a face mask, despite it saying so on voucher (funny how she noticed poo voucher was for pk of 12 but didn't spot the olay voucher wasn't for wipes) The voucher will actually work against anything, because the barcode starts with 99.
I can't beileve I forgot that extra points voucher again from ACmachine on a spend over 10.00. Must remember to visit AC machine BEFORE buying anything next time. The thing is, I never plan to spend over a tenner, it just happens!0 -
Has anyone seen the free Olay travel bag instore? I went to 5 London stores yesterday and didn't see a single one. Do you think this offer is online only?0

I got:
3 x disposable flossers @ 99p each & ended up paying only 99p for all 3.
2 x diareze 6 pack - free with voucher
3 x smile mouthwash paid £1.98
so for £2.95 outlay I got 412 points back
Ive also got 2 spare diareze vouchers if anyone cant get a new mag & wants the voucher pm me.0 -

Hi fellow Bootsers - hope you can help.... I've still got 8 skincare vouchers left ( haven't had time all week to do much shopping in Boots) - I've got loads of sanctuary/time delay - (face/body) things already.......
Which olay/roc/no7/loreal/nivea products go through free/little spending with the vouchers?? ie actually scan at the till rather than sa overriding till....
Would be grateful for any advice!!! DON'T KNOW WHAT TO GET!!!XX
nb I'm finding that the 'smile' mouthwash is really strong - I prefer the 'Basic' one.......
ps - has anyone tried the 'no7 Microdermabrasion' - does it make a difference to the skin??? it says on the packet to use it twice a week - so does this mean you can continue using it twice a week for say the rest of the year etc??? any 'stopping limit' - I think I'm waffling now!!! Hope you get what I mean!!??
THANKS!!XX0 -
i cant believe the expert discount and the 342 worked, i just brought 3 of the flossing packs @ 99p each, =£ 2.97 they achally took off £3.99 at the till, im so happy, but still upset my boots hasnt got an ac machine, and that the sa forgot to take the security tag off my sun glasses, i didnt notice till i got home!!!!
thank you everyone for all the hints and tipsBack to comping Jan 2013 :j

HELP!!!
which toothpaste and flossers are they??
i bought 6 expert whitening pump toothpastes and my bill came to £11 odd
asked to check that they were'nt half price as im sure they are and they are £3.19 reduced from £3.99
This is the first glitch to go wrong for me....i got them refunded though and got to keep the points as the sa was confused.
can somebody post a pic of it for me so i know if i got the correct one.
thanksI heart The Capital0 -
Buoyed up by my start yesterday, I tried again!
No more of the nice RoC moisturising sets and no more of the RoC facial wipes that I wanted to try, so I got a facial aftersun that was reduced to £3.73.
+ GWP box(last one on the shelf though, what a shame!)
Boots expert whitening toothpaste x 3 @ £1.98
Boots expert disposable flossers x 3 @ 99p
Boots basics mouthwash x 3 @ 71p
Boots sanitary pads x 2 @ 99p
Time delay hand cream £5
Dextrose tablets 55p
Used £5 off skincare voucher (was for the hand cream)
Used £5 off RoC voucher from previous GWP
Used 75 points for £10 spend
Used 100 points for mouthwash
Total to pay: £4.18
Total points received: 415 (40 normal + 75 for £10 spend + 3x100 for mouthwashes)
Plus got another Boots £5 voucher back to spend before Tuesday!! Also got another £5 RoC voucher!
The receipt is impossible to make head or tail of!!
Asked the girl to activate my healthclub status, and she accidentally activated me as over 60!
Had forgotten to hand over my double points coupon that had one more use left, but the lady said that since I'd got extra discounts from their mistake I couldn't have them added on. Asked a lady downstairs on my way out and she very kindly added on the 40 points for me! :T So total points received for transaction was really 455! :T
The weird thing is that if I work out what I'd expected to pay including the expert glitches, it work out at about 4p more than I actually ended up paying??
I'm not too worried though, I think I did well!0
