run and hide........... weve been spotted.......0 -
Hi all.
I just wanted to let you all know that boots are well aware of this forum. My order for mouthwashes was cancelled the other day so I rang boots to find out why. They mentioned that that they had picked up about the glitch from the forums. The lady at customer services said that too many glitches had been reported on the forum and they are putting these mistakes right as soon as possible. So it really is now a case of "grab it while u can". Hope this helps.
Oh no!!! if the glitches stop I'll shop at superdrug. Did you get that Boots?0 -

PS: I'm quite new to this bootsing thing, thanks to everyone who posts the glitches. Does anyone else find it a little bit scary when you go to the till and are waiting to see if everything goes through, or am I just being a wuss?
:rotfl: Nope, you are not being a wuss!!!!...I am a roughty toughty biker chick (allegedly) and I always get all shakey and nervous when going for a glitch!! I hate confrontation and always envision a hugely embarrassing scene with any SA who susses out that I shouldnt really be getting a free RoC gift set if I havent bought any other Roc stuff, or that the extra 100 points voucher I am using isnt actually meant to go through with the mini size conditioner I bought.
I dont know why I get so nervous though...on the odd occasion that an SA has said I cant have the freebie/points, I just say "Oh sorry, I didnt read the offer properly, I will leave it then".
Its worth all the stress though.....walking out of the shop with a bag full off goodies, an extra few hundred points on your card and the knowledge that you only spent £4.95 cash is such a buzz!! :rotfl:2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -
The funny thing was that the lady mentioned that Boots were flooded with Basics mouthwash orders. If only Boots realised how much money us ladies are putting through their tills. Each time I place an order online it is to the value of £40.00 or more. So of course we need something back from boots in ruturn for all that custom.0

You hit the nail on the head there
Whilst I understand that some members that do the Tesco/Boots thing genuinely need to do it I suspect that quite a few of us wouldn't bother if the buzz wasn't there
