Hi, Don't want to get you all in a panic but...
I work in IT and in one of the Business Computer rags it stated how Alliance Unichem had succefully linked the Alliance EPOS system with the Boots ACM database and would be rolling it out to all stores. This could signal the end of the glitches!!
don't think this will be a problem, with the mail-out offers, the acm offers, the monthly mag, gwp's that scan free and us lot - there will always be glitches :rotfl:coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -

Just back from Boots Bristol Broadmead!
Found Boots 5 day detox reduced from £13.50 to £5.00 expires end of month so better start detox now!
Used 500 point voucher for detox.
From ACM 75 point and 100 point for £10 spend.
Double point coupon and £5.00 off Roc coupon.
I love Boots!
Was the 500 points voucher in the machine? I cant remeber printing one of those off.

Just recieved my parenting club vouchers and 1 of them is Buy a Mediterranean full-sized body butter (200ml) and recieve another product from the Mediterranean range free (excluding gift packs).
Now, the body butters are showing online at £6.50 each or 2 for £10, I presume this is the same instore.
So my question is, will the till deduct £6.50 with the voucher if i bought 2 - thus i only pay £3.50?
Many thanks
Firstly thanks to my hubby,
He is suffering from anxiety and not up to facing people at the moment, but i've been managing to get him out in the car, so i can still go bootsing and today was the 1st day in a couple of weeks that he went into the store with me - one step at a time but things are gradually improving - Thanks Trev :smileyhea
Right, the voucher doesn't work with the offer, infact it didn't scan at all - so SA did a manual override and i got 2 body butters for the price of 1.
Again, thanks to ginjim for posting the barcode for the teeth whitening stick - I grabbed 4 at £2.15 each in seperate transactions.
Also managed to get some more mens toiletries on clearance at 50% off, plus 3-4-2 as they still had the pos up. :j0 -

I've checked the sticky at the top but cant see it mentioned. Is the buy two get extra points on Jemma Kidd nail files just for Boots.com or can you also get the extra points in store? And is it just nail files?
I finally found some on Saturday and took 2 to the tile to see if the offer was on but the till said no. Mine were £2 each but I seem to think the ones that got the points were £4 or have I got it all wrong?
I've read back several pages and it is very confusing, quite a few people taking theirs back. Perhaps it is a specific barcode that is generated the extra points?

Hi Mary
Online : Buy 2 jemma kid nail varnishes @ £2 each = £4 total, get 500 points (you can only do it for 2 files tho, 4 files gives 500pts, 8 files gives 500pts, no idea why, but you can get many in separate transactions)
This also DID work instore, but now seems to have stopped working and many have taken their nail files back. The offer is still online as far as I can tell.
Another poster did mention that the 500pts should be honoured as it does not state the nail file as an exclusion and technically, you are buying 2 items from the specified range and should get the points that are on offer. Depends how brave you are to say that to a SA though!!! (tho the poster is technically right!)
Hope that helps
