I got an exculsive freebie today
so thought Id share the tale!!!
there I was trying to see what the latest deals were and remembered I had the voucher for the bogof 99p boots therapy so thought I would have a quick sniff! unfortunately in doing so squeezed the bottle and got an eyeful of shower gelmy god was it painful, found a lovely assistant who I know through a friend and she took me to the pharmacy to get sorted. They very nicely got a bottle of eyewash for me to rinse my eye with and let me keep the rest (which no doubt Ill use by the end of today!!!) If any of you guys from the southampton stores are reading this, thankyou everso much your help was appreciated!!!
so then spent the rest of the trip with one eye with full makeup and another bare and bright red, not a pretty sight! so anyone in the southampton store seeing a woman with a bright red eye, that was me!not the best way to go unnoticed!
but apart from that managed to get:
1 pack bodyform £1.59 + 100 points (from acm)
1 toni and guy straighten spray 1/3 off £3.65 + 100 points (from acm)
sanctuary foot sachet pack £1.12 reduced from £2.25finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
Mummym - Congratulations!!!
Lilaclily - I know how you feel!!!! I just hope I don't have to wait 4 years or it'll be too late for me altogether.:o
Now....I got the Max Factor GWP :j :j !
Had to see a couple of customers in Watford today so went to their Boots. Got last GWP in store with a lip gloss - till beeped but young bloke just shoved it through - I think he was embarrassed by the piles of tampax in my basket cos he wouldn't look at me:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Little does he know that I picked him over the efficient looking ladies exactly for that reason. AND there's a voucher in the GWP for 200 points when you buy a MF mascara - ooooohhhhhh - I feel an iddibitty cheat coming on. No points for J Kidd nail files so will have to take them back.
There were also LOADS of ROC GWPs but I didn't want to push my luck.0 -
Just had an email from Max Factor telling me to go and get my exclusive summer gift......

Hi...I'm in Essex and have had no luck in finding a Roc gwp.
I've tried (:rotfl: ) over the passed 4 weeks, Southend, Wickford, Basildon, boots on the A127, romford, lakeside, clacton and colchester. How Sad am I.JUNE: Wine - DVD :j0 -

.
Went upstairs to get the BOGOF disposable cameras, got two free with Parenting voucher. And found some memory stick adaptor cards in the reduced photography section. Bought three in separate transactions, each time paid £2.99 and got 500pts each, so 1500 points added for those
.
Finally downstairs again, this time to the Clinique counter. Spent £28.50 on 3 items, nice lady gave me some samples to try, got the 1200pts from the 3 item-promo + 750pts from Parenting voucher + 100pts wys £10 Boots internet voucher. So spent £28.50 but got 2050pts back. And nice Clinique lady reckons BonusTime is back in August, so am hanging on to my other Parenting vouchers until then.
Saw the JK files but no signs up about the 500pts so left them. Did not see the gold anti-smoking boxes? Did I miss them?
Anyway, got loads more points, and managed to find my way back to my car and home again. Note to self: Must get out more!!
Lucky you. U must have missed the 'skincare advisor' dragon called K***n. she magically appears from thin air everytime i try to pop a roc GWP into my basket. Main tactic: she says 'u cant have it loudly, and then turn to the nearest store colleague to complaint about whoever it was that trying to get the Roc gwp.
the quit smoking packs are near the pharmacy counter. you must have missed them.0 -
I must stop going into Boots, I'm going to bankrupt myself :rotfl:
Today I got the lovely new limited edition eyeshadow from No.7, some moisture drench lipstick (+ 100 points from AC) and an eyeliner on the 3 4 2 offer.
Also got the Max Factor GWP, but spent the £15 to get it as I needed to get my total spend over £30 to get 250 points voucher I had.
The best bit was a free with a mascara purchase a No 17 Eye creme voucher from the AC, and I still had on me a £1 off No. 17 mascara so paid £3.75 for them both.:j
Not sure how I got 550 Bonus points tho, and I'm now annoyed as I got home all chuffed to discover I had forgotten to use my double points voucher too :mad:See the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -

OOHHH I know how sore that can be!
On holiday I got neat shampoo in my eye and it hurt like h*ll!
I had to wash it out with the little vials of contact lens eye drops!
I went out that night with a bright red eye and it was still stinging.
It took 2 days before it was fully better.
Hope yours feels better soon:smileyhea
Its a drastic way to get a freebie:D:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

Went into my local today. Bought some No7 stuff and thought I'd try for the Max Factor GWP.
SA was ever so helpful and tried, but till wasn't having any of it.
So no GWP for meAlso, 300 points on No7 voucher from mailing didn't work automatically. SA told me they had problems with them all day...added them manually for me.
