Went to Boots today to use up the Metro Revlon vouchers. I was afraid I wouldn't find any mascaras after reading the threads here but thank God! there were loooaaadddsssss in my local Boots. Got 2 mascaras free with 2 vouchers and two lipsticks (half price @ £3.99). So well pleased!

Thanks 'teedy23' for the vouchers again!

Also got 2 FCUK women's mini treats boxes BOGOF so £5 for both. and of course, 2 x 6 pack of Diareze FREE and 100 points from ACM voucher.
    Excellent!

Went to Boots in town today as a friend i was with wanted some no7 items, so informed her of the free gift and of the Total Spend on no7 = 500 points. So we stood next to each other on the acm and she got her voucher for 500 points - MINE HAD VANISHED! It was there last week cos i went in and got a freebie Boots Sensitve item but at the time i didnt need anything no 7. Wheres my ruddy voucher gone Boots!

On a slightly better note, picked up some MF foundation and MF lady said if you spend £15 you get 500 points. Decided against this and left items on a shelf as i was so angry at Boots for removing it, friend offered me hers but it had her name on and wasnt in the mood for an argument.

    Better luck next time.

Is it just me or has bootsing been really unexciting lately? I loved the sanctuary deals, the £5 no7 vouchers, protect and perfect and No7 suncream offers but just lately been pretty dull! - Either that or Im missing something!!!!

Think that's the "limited edition" range of FCUK, gone all browny and posh looking, v fancy compared to the bright pinks :D

A lot (tho not all) FCUK in my local (kensington high st) is also half price. :D

Good and bad day in Boots for me

Picked up a load of reduced Boots Expert Range, and noticed the 3 for 2 offer on them, but only the reduced Boots Expert Sensitive gentle Face Scrub (reduced to 75p each) went through at 3 for 2, but the Antiseptic spray (reduced to 54p each) and bath foam didnt (reduced to 58p each).

Also found the 6 pack of diareze thingy so used the 100 points voucher and tried the half price voucher only for the eagle eye SA told me it doesn't work on the 6 pack and that I need to ask the dispensing counter for them only I didn't have time to go back.

I must be the only local Bootser as there are loads of mags left (which I keep forgetting to pick up - grr) and loads of the No 7 free gift but I didn't want any more No 7 stuff (and no P &P in stock)

Finally why when I pick up 3 for 2 nappies do they forget to scan the 3rd pack, but if the offer wasn't on, I bet she would have scanned them all
See the stars they’re shining bright
    Everything’s alright tonight

Similar feeling here but I think it is because we now have so much health, beauty and toiletry stuff stashed away from Boots and Tesco that we have enough to supply ourselves, out children until they are adult enough and old enough to have children of there own.

I think we really enjoy a bargain better when it is something we are desperate to have - we almost have to be " hungry" enough.

One way around the glut is to start "paying" people in toiletries eg instead eg instead of paying the babysitter, let her choose which cosmetics she would like, it might also work with the window cleaner or the chap that cuts your grass or does odd jobs for you ...
