foced sunday contract

the store have gone to new man hours ive been employed there 5 yrs 39 hrs week mon /tue /wed/fri/sat / they now have change this contract to 37 hours wk but the contract now incudes all day suday every week but i have the right to opt out of sundays but then my employer says that i will only be on 30 hrs week im the only employer that is being forced to work sunday .

you should legally be able to stick to your original contracted hours as they arent cutting your hours because of loss of business or closing down etc it is thier choice to open for an extra day and you are legally allowed to opt out of sundays. i would ask CAB for advice.now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0
