fixed rate mortgage

Hi, my interest only year holiday is ending this month, I have just got a letter from my mortgage company and it looks like they have put me on a fixed rate, added a £900 admin fee?? without asking me.
I will ring them tomorrow but wondered if they are allowed to do that?
