How do I clean a lilac suede sofa?

Options
I have a pale lilac suede like material sofa which is very dirty on the arms. The material is very tactile and people keep running their hands up and down it so it has lots of dirty marks.

Any idea of how I can clean it? We did have it done professionally a couple of years ago but it didn't do much and I think it took off the Scotchguard.

try sponging with a sponge dipped in a weak solution of stardrops and wring it out until almost dry.
if you don't have stardrops then try a few drops of washing up liquid or shampoo! no harsh detergents or soap which might leave a residue.
