Mortgage PPI?

Got one of those PPI calls recently but they seemed to know a little too much.
They knew my mortgage was with The Nationwide and told me while PPI may not appear expressly in my statements, the building society have built the PPI into my repayments and that they could get me thousands of pounds back.
I have normally either politely said no thank you or started to a very immature approach to wasting their time by this stage. After all, these types waste my time, almost on a daily basis.
But hey, these guys knew I had a mortgage with Nationwide.
So is it a new tact to get me on a hook, or has anyone else claimed for this hidden Nationwide PPI?

That is a lie. MPPI is paid explicitly. It cannot be hidden. The vast majority are standalone direct debits from the current account. A minority is paid with the mortgage but it appears on the mortgage statement. A very small number, which are set up incorrectly, are single premium and added to the mortgage at the start. However, Nationwide never did it that way.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. did you take out the nationwide mortgage through a broker by any chance? I bet yes. The broker is now probably not trading, has either become a CMC or flogged your details to a cmc0
