Where to buy silk to make waistcoats?

Hope someone out there can help. We've been invited to a small wedding over August Bank Holiday weekend. DD has been asked to be an usher, and I've bought her a lovely dress. I'd like to make waistcoats in a similar coloured silk for DH and DS.
I used to but my fabric from John Lewis (their selection is now tiny in Sheffield, my nearest store) or a fabric shop in York (now closed, sadly).
Any suggestions for a supplier
I'm happy to buy over the internet or mail order, if I can have samples of the fabric first.
I've been led to believe that sari shops are a good source of silk. Anyone know if this is true
I can easily get to Bradford, which apparently has several good sari outlets. Anyone got any experience of shopping there or any recommendations?
Many thanks, Penny. x

Hi Penny, apparently Bombay Stores in Bradford is brilliant. My S-in-L and her sis went there for wedding dress fabrics lately.
