has anyone who is discharged from br for almost 2 years managed to find a mortgage ??

Hi,
Myself and my partner have almost been discharged from bankruptcy for 3 years. We did not lose a house in the br it was our business that went under. We are now stuck paying stupid rent for a house when there is an opportunity to part buy part rent with a housing association. The house is similar size and on our estate which we must stay as we have 3 kids in the first school here .
The difference in rent/mortgage compared to what we pay now is £400 per month.
We are desperate to do this because we are being shafted with rent and want to start and build up something to leave to our kids in the way of a house . We would only buy a 30% share now and add to it later as and when we can.
Income is £25k per year minimum and the amount we would need to buy is only £48100.
Any ideas would be really appreciated. Ive been trawling the web looking for answers and not found any yet.
MANY THANKS in advance
