Want to Cancel Pension - Help

Options
I have recently started a company pension and then husband got offered a job abroad and I have resigned. I missed the 30day cancelation period by 4 days!!!

Can I still cancel within the first year and get my contributions back???

So far I have paidless than £100 in to it and already have 2 other pensions on the go!

You are probably best to keep it because you can continue paying into it & get UK tax relief for up to 5 years after you have left the UK!
  • I already have another pension that I am trying to save into regulary, wouldn't £100 just get eaten up in charges? It seams a silly amount to have in a pension , costs of transfering are probably 5 times as much as the pension value?!

speak to your employer/scheme organizer. If it's a final salary scheme you can generally get your contributions refunded if you leave under 2 years. If it's a money purchase purely in you name it's stuck but you could merge it with your other scheme.
