    I would have thought that because the fraud involves the OPs property, that would mean that they are within their rights to report the fraud especially considering there could be possible judgements on the address which could involve warrants of execution, and possibly the removal of the OPs property. I would personally argue that as it affects the OP then they could and should report the fraud to the police.

    Maybe if there are any police officers here, could you confirm on this please?

    EDIT, thinking about this, if you see somebody stealing a car on the street, you do not need to be the owner of the car to report the crime, I do not see why this should be any different in cases of fraud. If you have witnessed the crime, then the right thing to do is surely to report it?
