Mortgage Free ASAP

Hello all,

I have decided once and for all that I am going to start to make overpayments on my mortgage.

ok so here goes my details........

I am 39, married with no children or pets etc although we are looking at getting a dog sometime this year. I work as a temp so work can be varied.

As I said I am going to make overpayments but at the same time we are also saving up for a motorhome. I plan on each month, putting any extra money away and them at the end of the month split this into two, one for the MH pot and the other for the OP pot.

I do part-time demonstrating work once a week so that money can go straight into the savings. I also have stuff on ebay for sale after a clear out of old clothes etc.

I shall update the numbers a little later today/tomorrow. I will also update my signature.

Morning! Well its stupid o'clock and I am up!

I have a day off today. I need to get some lunch shopping in and some potatoes but hoping for a low spend day today.

I have worked all weekend so that's about £80 towards Aprils target, sold a cinema voucher so that another £15 and sold an item on ebay for £5.

I am going to sort through my bags today and any money found there will go into the pot also.

It certainly will be fun. I work as a temp so money will fluctuate depending on what job I am doing and more to the point if I am working! Like I said I am a demonstrator at the weekends so that should help. As I am saving for both a motorhome also, the journey may be longer than I would like it to be x

    Good Morning!

Starting a new temp job today so a bit nervous. Its in the city centre so will have to get the bus so that £3 at the park and ride. Other than that, I have my lunch sorted so won't need to spend any other money. I get an hour for lunch so may pop to the job centre to see what permanent jobs they have on offer. Nothing else really to report.

    Good Morning,

I have been paid this morning so I have taken out what I need for the week and have added £253 into the pot.

Jimmybrid, I haven't had the chance to get the numbers together but I will do that over the weekend.
