Strange letter from the official receiver

Got a letter today saying
having carried out a review of your case file, i note that we do not appear to have full details of the person (s) who paid your petition costs. I should therefore be grateful if you would advise the name and address, together with the relevant amounts if funds supplied by more than one person, as soonas possible.
What are they getting at? Ipaid the fees and imagine it would be unusual for someone else to pay the fees.
I feel a little apprehensive as i wonder if they are then going to ask how i raised the funds. I wouldnt really have and documents to back it up as i raised the funds by hustling and not paying stuff. How am i supposed to remember all the ins and out? Or am i worrying about nothing?

Not really that unusual for someone else to pay the fees. A lot of people can't afford them, and friends/relatives help them out.
One potential reason for them wanting to know is if that could be considered a "debt", then that person could be added as a credit and could even get a pay out if any moneys are eventually distribuited from your estate.
Even if not, it's not really that unusual or sinister request from the OR.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Ok thanks for the reassurance. Ill reply today was just worried about having to answer further questions. Ive done nothing wrong but i barely know how i mustered thed money myself so would struggle to prove it.
I suppose now that i think about it i have seen some organisations who do pay peoples fees.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0
