When handing your notice in, when does the countdown begin?

Well whether the week is Mon-Fri or Fri-Thurs, surely a week is just 5 days (or whatever their working week is (which is 5 days)).
Though i suppose the plot thickens - i just found out she only works Thurs & Fri. No idea how or if this changes anything.
Still, i've got the answer enough to satisfy me if i was ever in this position.0 -
If the employer is saying Monday April 22nd is the final day. Then this would be a month notice.
Friday 19th would be the last day on a 4 weeks notice.
Your wife needs to look at her contract to see if it says 4 weeks or 1 month notice.Bad luck breeds bad luck.
