    I've got a day off tomorrow so I can tidy up and get some items listed for sale, and maybe clear out the spare room a bit more. Will be a NSD too. :)

    Yesterday
    * Took lunch to work
    * NSD
    * Survey completed on VO

    Today
    * Took lunch to work :A
    * £ 3.60 car park (will be claimed back from work)
    * £18.26 on groceries, mainly things on offer that will be used up.
    * Another survey on VO. It was £21.45 on the 4th July when I rediscovered my lost money, and now it's standing at £26.95. Not too shabby. :)

    My battery arrived for my laptop, but it's so slow. I think my laptop has other issues. I'm trying to get my photos off and uploaded to Flickr, and some documents and if it doesn't die before that, I'll try and get YNAB on there. I don't think it's worth getting it fixed and I've seen on a certain computer shops website that I could get a new one for about £160. Not ideal but I'd rather not throw money away on something that's beyond repair. Hopefully when I eventually get YNAB, I can be super budgeted and pay for that new laptop in no time!

    :)

    You need to secure your router if he can access your WIFI. Why? because if he downloads naughty stuff via your router, then you would be busted as it is your IP address. I think anyway. So put a password on it. You should be able to get instructions off the internet. You wouldn't let him use your water without paying you or your electric, so why your broadband. Ref the laptop, you might try clearing your cache first, and also running a free anti virus software in case that is what is causing your problems.

    Good luck with the debt busting

    Thanks Chev, I appreciate that. My wifi is luckily already password protected so he won't be able to access it. Crikey, I'm glad I said no him now, when you put it like that, it's quite scary!

    Thanks, I'll try that with the laptop. I haven't properly used it for 18 months so I'm sure there's a lot of updates needed. :)

    It didn't turn out to be an NSD in the end. But all necessary purchases. Sort of.

    Today
    * £12.50 on wet cat food. It was a pound a box cheaper than some places so I bought 5 boxes. Should last 60 days. I've got about 200 days worth of dry cat food in the cupboard too. Just need litter then my cat is catered for for a while. :A
    * £6.32 in total on shampoo, deodorant and a bargain Mayb*lline nail polish (for £1.98). The nail polish is not strictly a necessity, however, it was my favourite colour, my other one has nearly run out and it was £3 less than I paid last time cause it was from a cheapo shop. Totally justified it haven't I?! :D
    * £1 on crumpets. I was going to spend £3.49 on my favourite Eggs Benedict in Mozzas cafe but I decided to just make my own egg on crumpet at home so I've actually saved £2.49. And would you look at that, my nail polish is covered. :p
    * Found £1.43 in an old purse, straight I the tin.
    * One item listed in Gumtreeeeee
    * Closed a case for a non payer on eb*y so got a small credit
    * Had a chip on the windscreen of my lease car repaired for free, so saved having to pay £100 on the excess for a replacement as it was only little.
    * Saved £50 on calling out the washing machine repair man to clear the filter after it wouldn't spin. I did it myself. Very proud! :money::D

    I still need to list 8 items for sale on eb*y. They sent an email offer earlier so I can list for free but I need to list them by Monday. Might do 2 a day so it's more manageable. :cool:

    2 days until payday......can't wait! :)

    Haha thanks Catriona, I'm impressed with myself. I unblocked my toilet after watching a YouTube video last week! I've turned into a right Handy Andy!

    Definitely agree with you on the occasional treat. Days are gone of a daily treat :)
