You should be able to get your order delivered to a local M&S store if that is easier.

Despite having two M&S's nearby - one being a big one, neither are doing collect instore!

The big one isn't doing instore ordering any more either! I really need some shoes, cheap ones have been ruining my feet for far too long!

There's customer service, and there's M&S customer service. Which is why so many former M&S customers are defecting to Waitrose and John Lewis. The difference in attitude to customers is just stunning - particularly in Waitrose.

Agree with you, I'm finding that I'm shopping at JL at lot more as I've had bad experiences of M&S customer service and I certainly feel that the quality of some of their goods lately has declined.

After yet another unpleasant mauling by the M&S website recently, I took most of the stuff back to the local branch, mainly because I was so hacked off with the whole thing.

The assistant asked why I was returning it, and when I told her she said she'd used it herself and found it awful. You'd think they'd get the message really, wouldn't you?

the lady I spoke to yesterday said it is back in this store in 2 weeks - not sure if that's the same everywhere!

wish they all had collect in store - would make it all so much easier!
