I have a query on M&S discounts - not sure if this is the correct place so please move if not.

I used 2 x codes to buy a few things on line recently.

However the jeans i need the next size in and one of the tops i don't like.

I have rang my local stores and they do not stock the jeans at all, so rang M&S orders and they said i could re-order a new pair and get a refund from my store.
I queried the refund as i used codes and i got £7 off the price by using the codes but if i return the store they will only refund me what i actually paid but to buy a new pair online i have to pay the full price again.....any suggestions of a way round this????

Also the top i bought i don't want at all - could i just bring it in and do straight swap for same price but different top??

any ideas would be appreciated if anyone has been in the same situation before.

Order the jeans in the size you want then return the 1st pair with your 2nd receipt stating the wrong size was sent

They would only honour the price if you swapped a like for like top (must be the same, but can be different colour or size).
