Ebuyer is selling the Acer Aspire V5 Thin and Light laptop for only £230 including free delivery and a £50 cashback. The model, also known as the NX.M18EK.003, is a regular in our Techdeals section and for a good reason; it promises and delivers excellent value-for-money. What’s more Ebuyer is giving away a free laptop carry bag with it.
Acer says that this device is 30 per cent thinner and 10 per cent lighter than your standard notebook (up to 23mm thick and a weight of 2.1Kg) and it is clear that the Taiwanese company wants to pitch the Aspire V5 as a cheaper version of the Ultrabook.
This particular model comes with an Intel Pentium B987 processor, a dual-core model clocked at 1.5GHz with 2MB L3 cache and Intel HD Graphics video.
Other features include a 14in Acer CineCrystal display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard disk drive, a DVD writer, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, a card reader, three USB ports, VGA, HDMI and Ethernet ports plus Windows 8.
