Fill-a-Flask

I watched my electric meter spin round when I put the kettle on this morning:eek:
Boy, do they use 'lekkie!
I have vowed to always fill a flask now, its good for coffee, filling pans for cooking veg,or pouring back into kettle to boil again for tea. That should save a packet:T

It would be more efficient to not overfill your kettle.

I refill the kettle straightaway with only sufficient water needed for the next cuppa, and put over a foil 'kettle cosy'.
In addition the kettle sits over a hole on a radiator shelf.
The flask is probably a better bet.
