Made veg soup wed night, ok to freeze?

Hi, mum's not around to ask so I thought of the next best - ask you lot!
I made a huge pan of very yummy veg lentil soup late wednesday night, meaning to freeze it in portions. However I put the whole pan in the fridge and forgot about it!
Is it still ok to freeze? Do I just portion it now or would I have to boil it then cool and freeze?
I really hope it's not past it as it would be such a waste and it is so delicious (my son even took a cupful out in the car on thursday he liked it so much).
So much for being organised eh?
Thanks,
Purple. :A

Taste it, if it tastes fine then I would freeze it, but when you defrost it do so in portions and not too much at a time, eating it soonish after you defrost it. I wouldn't boil it again before making into portions, just a good stir to mix it up.One day I might be more organised...........

Thankyou ! :j
I'm so pleased I've not wasted it and that I don't need to boil it 'cos, well, that would take effort and... erm... might 'forget' again!
Thanks lil_me, I'll go and do it now. :A
It's funny though, I made and decorated a cake the same night, decided it was too nice for me and ds to scoff and that made the freezer...takes up a whole shelf too. :rotfl: Priorities eh?:happylove0
