Gym increase?

Hi All,
Just abit of advice
I joined a council run gym in September last year, its a couples membership so me and my best friend are on it (dont ask!)
It was a 12 month contract with a no cancellation clause
Anyway they have written to us both saying that the prices are due to increase on the 1st April.
I dont see how this is fair considering we entered into a 12 month contract at a specific price. Its only £3/4 increase each per month but its the principle.
Is it worth writing to them?

I just cancelled my gym membership a few days ago following a 10% increase. There was usually a 3 month cancellation period, but there was a clause in the contract saying this is not enforced if they increase prices.
So check your contract or ask them!Pensions actuary, Runner, Dog parent, Homeowner0
