Project Solar - 12 month guarantee 'challenges' - Advice needed

Options
Hi all,

I have just passed my first twelve months of owning and running a Solar PV system and have enjoyed a decent yield.

However

The reason I went with the Burton on trent based company Project Solar was their very attractive terms, not least being the first year's yield guaranteed or they pay the difference.

So

My yield for the first year was about £215 below their estimations (it was a pretty cloudy year), so I contacted them via their contact form on the website (which was ignored), then I phoned them and was offered a call back - which never came. So I called again and finally got put through to 'Simon'. He took my details and agreed that I had fell short and said he would 'look into it'. I followed this up by email to provide some extra information, which I then had to chase to ensure it had been received. I got another email saying it was being looked into. It has now been 21 days since my first contact with Simon and still no action has been taken.

Any advice would be most welcome. is this one for the small claims court process?

As things stand I would advise people to be very wary of Project Solar.

Forgive the bump, but despite my lack of advice here (in 1,331 views), I have just written my letter before action to Project Solar UK Ltd. I will update when I get my response. If I am doing the wrong thing then do shout as not too late to withdraw from Small Claims Route.

One of which must have been mine. :)
I've never heard of this lot, so am unable to give advice. Hope you have a good outcome whatever you decide to do.
