Mortgage in Principal without knowing final property cost

I think if we wait for the offer to be accepted as ACG mentioned this should help to make it a much simpler process

It would be nice to have an AIP but without knowing the final price of the property it seems more effort than it is worth. We aren't looking to borrow anywhere near the maximum that we could feasibly lend so obtaining a mortgage wouldn't be a problem, and knowing that you can apply via phone/online just as efficiently as in-branch takes a lot of the stress/confusion away for us
Thanks again for all of your help with everything folks! You really have been amazing as ever
