This month Living North are delighted to be able to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a week at fabulous Fursdon Cottage in the heart of the Devon countryside. The cottage sleeps five and the owners are happy to accommodate one well behaved dog too.
Located on a beautiful private country estate in the heart of rural Devon, but just twenty minutes from the Cathedral town of Exeter, Fursdon Cottage is a beautiful 19th century cottage with its own private garden. Recently refurbished to 5 star accreditation by Visit England, it is extremely stylish yet comfortable with relaxing sofas, log burning stove, peaceful colours and lovely fabrics. Logs are provided from the estate.
The master bedroom has a newly installed ensuite bathroom and there are two further bedrooms, a large family bathroom, plus open plan kitchen/dining sitting room so whoever is cooking can still join in the holiday fun. A door from the sitting room leads to your very own, enchanting terraced garden stretching to a quarter of an acre. You’ll also find a TV room/snug and a large utility and boot room.
This prize is for a week at Fursdon Cottage only and must be booked by end July 2013 and taken by end April 2014. It is subject to availability and excludes Christmas and New Year.
