Recently joined a credit file agency, should I be worried that a car loan that I've had since Jan 2011 doesn't show up? Everything else shows mortgage, credit card, mobile bill

Depends who the loan Co use as a credit agency, not all lenders etc use the same agency.
You might find on 1 of the other CRA's the loan is on there with your other comitments.0 -

Credit expert/experian, noodle (althoguh not as popular).0 -
The main agency is Experian - online is called Creditexpert
The second agency is Equifax - online is called Equifax
The third agency is Callcredit - online free version is called Noddle
The first two are the most important and widely used, Experian is used by the vast majority.
Callcredit tends to be used more for identification/money laundering checks and also secondary credit checks, it tends to be slower with the updates on your accounts.I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.
Don't rely on anything I write as it may be wrong!!!0 -
Sorry but Noddle have been early at updating my file, a lot earlier than the other two. Two of my defaults were removed 2 weeks before the date they were due to drop off.
I believe Equifax to be the slowest CRA at updating files.
