Has anyone used bulkbuybritain.com?

Hello all,
I have never used the forum before, and apologise if this thread appears in the wrong section.
I've seen a TV that i want, the Sony Bravia KDL40EX653. The Sony shop are selling it for £629, however i've seen it advertised with bulkbuybritain.com at only £399. Just curious if anyone else has heard of this site or used them previously?

I have not used this site, however I have watched a one-off television show about this concept.

It's called Bulk Buy Britain, on Channel 4. Here is the description they give of the show:

Justin Preston believes that by bulk buying, ordinary British households can get anything cheaper. So he sets off to Bolton in Lancashire to prove it.

At first I thought the site must be related to the concept behind the show and therefore a brilliant way to save money. However, the website does not have any content in their 'about us' section which seems fishy to me.

Hopefully I am wrong and they are completely above board - hopefully Martin and team and some happy customers would be able to confirm this?

My general rule of thumb is this:

If its much cheaper than all the other outlets & there is no contact information, tel, uk address. Its not likely to be a real offer. Especially when it comes to large TV's or other popular products...

Well I did actually purchase a Flat Screen from them. Must have saved at least 40%. Took a bit of time to get to me - 17 days from first contact if memory serves me correctly.

When I contacted them was informed that once a threshold of orders is received for any item it is then "sourced" from the manufacturers. Suppose this explained the delay.

Also ordered a Nikon SLR Digital camera - should be delivered tomorrow. That was half price.

Understand that you can request any item and if feasible they will source it.

ps. how about a we approach them for a summer vacation? chances are that if we can also get that well below market rates!!
