Wonga Help-First Time Help!!!

Options
Hello All.

l have a wonga loan due on the 1st April (not sure if that means they will try and take it on the 28th due to bank holiday) of £680.
l have been deffering it so far but have run out of extensions.
Due to only working part time at the moment, all my money this month is going on clearing my other payday loans off completley ( 4 alltogether) which is a big weight of my shoulders but l thought l would be able to set up a repayment plan with wonga easily.

l sent an email to the company and CEO and recieved a reply saying to default then ring to sort out a payment plan.
l know l will have to default but dont want the crazy charges and interest to rack up.
l replied with this email--

Hello,

l have tried to extend but it wont let me on your account.

I am prepared to pay the following to a repayment plan-

April 2nd-£90
May 2nd-£90
June 2nd-£90
July 2nd-£90
August 2nd-£90
September 2nd-£90
October 2nd-£90
November 2nd-£90
=£720

£690 loan+£30 late fees.

Please advise on accepting
Thanks

l am prepared to pay that no problem but how likely are they to agree/get back to me?

is Payplan an idea ?(dont want to get into a dmp or anything)

the bank account wonga take money from is old and nothing gets paid into that unless l transfer it from my main bank account so they cant take my wages straight away.

Apologies for the long winded message, just would like any help or advice on the best way to sort a repayment plan out without owing £1000's in interest/charges.

Thanks in advance.

  • Ringing them is the only way to sort it properly. Chin up and get it done. They will send you an e-mail outlining it afterwards.
