You can get the Archos Titanium 97HD from PC World for as little as £198.55 when you use the voucher code PCWX5 at check out. Otherwise, the price is £210 online and £230 when you purchase in store. The device includes a free three months subscription to Times digital worth a whopping £55 by its own.
As for the tablet, it is clear that it is gunning for Apple’s mainstream third generation tablet with very similar specification.
The Archos Titanium 97HD runs on a dual-core Rockchip RK3066 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz and based on the Cortex-A9 architecture, 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a microSD card slot, a massive 9.7in 2,048 x 1,536 pixel IPS screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, similar to Apple iPad’s Retina display.
Other features include Wi-Fi, a front facing 5-megapixel camera and a rear 2-megapixel one and a microHDMI port.
It is advisable to bump the onboard storage using either a 32GB or 64GB microSD card. The tablet has an aluminium chassis and weighs a mere 640g with a thickness of 9mm.

Similar price at amazon, who, to my mind, have a less restrictive return policy than the DSG Group. Reviews of this tablet are not great though. The PC World site also had the 10.1 screen size version for just £159.99.0
