Homeowners "budget" party last night

I had some fellow homeowners around to rewatch the budget (I had sky + it).

They all arrived carrying red brief cases and we posed for pictures outside before going in. Needless to say there was much groin thrusting and fist pumping going on!

We all had dinner and drinks - we all played a game of guess the HPI over next year - could v well be above 10%

  • Why didn't I get an invite?

    Beacuse it was a party.

Whenever the next Negative Thinking Conference is organised, I'm sure you'll get an invite.

  • that doesn't make any sense.

the budget measures were supposed to help first time buyers. existing homeowners shouldn't care.

    er, oh...
    FACT.

    The budget.

    To rewatch.

    On +1.

Was that before the chains and whips came out.

I would never have thought that government fiscal policy was so exciting that it could spawn a party
You've shown me a whole new way to have fun, no more motorcycle racing for me, I'm selling up and taking up budget analysis instead
