Which work, which give value for money?
The dangly chain ones are horribly espensive but are used in commercial premises as recommended by health and safety, but compare the cost of approx £100 for a standard door, to a bead curtain costing £12.

Why not buy one of the net ones as I believe these are really effective & apparently are not obviously visible when hung at windows or doors. They come mostly in black, but think you can get white too.
I believe Lidl's are having some suitable for doorways as part of their specials, see here http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages/c.o.20070517.p.Insect_Curtain.ar1
Places such as Lakeland may stock a range suitable for both windows & doors & I know Readicut had some window ones on reduction a week or so back. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
The mesh screens are the best as they keep out the smallest of flies. Try this website https://www.ukflyscreens.co.uk they have a wide range of screens at various prices.0

Hi,
I have this one on my back door
http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!7327
It works well - I hardly ever get any flies in my house now and we often leave the back door open. We leave it in place during hot spells, even when the door is shut, and the seperate panel effect means that the cat can still come and go out of the cat flap without any problems.
Only thing we've noticed is we'll have to adjust the weights as it seems longer this year  and doesn't swing back into place properly - but the adjustment is easy (just have to get round to it).
