Overdue Parking Charges

Hi,

I recently went back to an old house I haven't lived at for over a year. When I got there, there was a pile of post that hadn't been forwarded.

Amongst it were numerous letters about 2 parking tickets I'd forgotten to pay. The letters escalated until the council notified bailiffs to visit the house!

I didn't know any of this because I had moved over a year ago and I don't even have the same car any more.

I'm happy to pay the outstanding parking charges, but I don't even know where to start. Should I contact the bailiffs or the council? Will I need to pay the bailiff charges or just the parking charges?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
