Mortgage Broker went ahead too soon

There are some brokers who can't resist any business, regardless of the possible fall-out later.
I've always had the attitude that no case is worth my career and that's stood me in good stead for 28 years.
Going back to the original point of the thread, I'd expect a mortgage application to only be submitted when the broker had;-
- signed factfind
- signed terms of business (for BTL business)
- signed suitability report
- signed mortgage application
- identification, proof of address, evidence of income, bank statements
at the very least.
