So, ten months until my BR falls off. I've now got 8k available credit. Through catalogues, mobile, mainstream CC, mainstream bank account. Complete with OD and cheque book.
I have not used this, it's just things I got to rebuild credit and the limits have gone from the hundreds to thousands over time
Just logged into online banking I've been pre approved for 24ks worth of credit. 24k, which when I phoned to check. Is a PRE agreed limit. So it's PRE authorised.
24k unsecured debt when I'm now a housewife as I've since got married and had children
Really? With BR still on file. I am shocked.

my work mate has just bought a used car for him and his wife - £15,000
our job means we need a company car - tax man loves us
He is now opting out - cash instead of car - not using the car he bought last month - he is buying another car.
Another £15,000 or so !!!!
