Can someone please tell me what cards should I be applying for after my bankruptcy?

I suggest waiting a year or so, then applying for a Vanquis card [high interest, sub-prime....use it for a small amount, regularly, pay off in full by every due date....]No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0

Captal One helped me to restore my credit rating to excellent in 10 months. Just use it for small amounts and then repay ASAP. However, using a larger amount of credit than the previous month will have a negative effect on your credit score so be careful!0

I had the same problem. I have just now got an Aqua card. It has, like all sub-prime cards, a very high APR. I will be paying it off in full every month though. Hopefully in a couple of years I will be able to get a more mainstream card.0 -

Hi, I simply waited. Not just for one year to be discharged, I waited for the full six years - so that I had a totally clean credit record. Only then did I apply.0 -
I got a Vanquis one 18 months (I think) after bankrupcty. They gave me £750 credit and it is now £2250. I also have an MBNA one (applied for 5 years after bankruptcy) which has £3400 credit and 0% interest at present. I just use them every so often then pay it off straight away to show I am a good payer. It has helped to build my credit report to being a lot more healthy.0
