I'm asking this for a friend who is hoping to recieve CS contributions via DEO, the case became active from March, as I understand the DEO always comes out after the 19th? Hence she won't see anything in her bank until April or May? Is this correct?

I receive maintenance weekly by DEO.

But if it's paid monthly I've been told it is after the 19th too.So she should receive first payment back end of April.

Agree with Sensemaya - this is what I was told in the days it looked like my ex might pay some maintenance! The employer has up to the 19th of the next month to pay if salary is paid monthly. I would assume there is a similar 'disregard' when paid weekly - probably something like 19/20 days.

It's always the 19th of the month following, whether it's monthly or weekly pay, so if the deduction is made on say March 1st, the employer can take up to 7 weeks to send it on.

I always found it varied employer to employer, some took their full time allowance, others sent it straight in.
