The CrossCountry Sign-Up competition (the "Competition") is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.
The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of XC Trains Limited ("XC"), their group companies or family members or anyone else connected to the Competition.
The prizes are as follows:

• 1 winner will receive a two-night stay for two (Double or Twin room) at a 5* hotel (selected by the Promoter) at the location selected by the winner from a specified list of destinations (Edinburgh, Cardiff, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cambridge or Bristol), return First Class CrossCountry train travel from the winner's nearest CrossCountry served station to the destination selected, and £250.00 spending money.
• 4 winners will each receive one pair of First Class return tickets for any CrossCountry journey.
• 20 winners will each receive £50 in High Street shopping vouchers.

If a 5* hotel is unavailable on the dates requested by the winner, accommodation at an alternative 4* hotel will be offered
Winners of train tickets will be expected to cover the cost of getting to their nearest station which is served by CrossCountry services.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To enter the Competition, entrants must supply their name, postcode and a contact e-mail address via the online competition form clearly signposted on the CrossCountry website. You can enter without clicking the competition entry link by sending your name, e-mail and postal address to CrossCountry Spring 2013 Competition, Marketing Department, CrossCountry, 5th Floor, Cannon House, 18 Priory Queensway, Birmingham B4 6BS.
In entering the Competition, entrants agree to allow XC to contact them by e-mail. E-mail addresses will be used by XC only and will not be passed on to any third parties. Entrants can opt out from receiving e-mails from XC at any subsequent time.
Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
Entry is free and winners will be selected at random.
The Competition closes at 2359 on Monday 15th April 2013.
Winners will be chosen from a random draw of all entries between 09:00 on 22nd April 2013 and 17:00 on 26th April 2013.
Winners will be notified by e-mail before 3rd May 2013 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to XC within seven days, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and XC shall be entitled to select another winner.
Details of the winners can be obtained after 28 days of the winner's prizes being awarded by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Marketing Department, XC Trains Limited, 5th Floor, Cannon House, 18 The Priory Queensway, Birmingham B4 6BS.
The winners may be required to assist in promotional activity.
