Hi
As I said in last post my friend has been made bankrupt : ( been to receivers today who have said a 'trustee' will be appointed as there is equity in the house. The house is in joint names however my friend paid full deposit & every mortgage payment although she left him 6 years ago.
Does anybody have any idea what appends now the receivers etc are involved with regards to keeping the house etc

The trustee will most likely want his share of any equity in the house.
As in previous post, if he can look into something like a FTIVA then may be an option. Or someone will probably have to buy out his share of the equity; otherwise sooner or later the trustee is likely to want to force a sale to get at it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
