Declaring Dependants

in Mortgages & endowments
hey folks, i have a young child under 18 . However i do not live with her and her mother . I pay maintainence costs but wonder do i declare her as a dependant. Mortgage calculators are not very clear and there is a seperated section for child maintainence outgoings. Anyone have any experience of this?

    If you are declaring the maintenance, you should not declare your daughter as a dependent.
