Living abroad and paying car finance

What happens in a situation where your behind on payments for a car finance agreement, however you live abroad what can they do?

    Well a lot would depend on where abroad is and where the car is...
    If the car is with you, then is there a option to take the car with you, for extended periods?

    Fnland.. well i was behind on my payments due to loosing my job at comet they sent a balliff out to collect the car i was suppose of started a job 2 weeks ago that didnt happen and arranged to make up the 900 in arreas, by paying 200 a week, I managed to pay my first 200 with no job,

    I drove to finland to meet friends £420 all 8 of them chipped in for petrol, and ive been hear 5 days now staying at friends house, am not sure how long i will be hear for but they said i could find work out here. am not sure how this works with my car finance company.

    So really you have exported the car without permission, they could report it stolen
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    on top of trashing your uk credit record for the sake of £700, Get on the phone and see if they will come to some new payment agreement.
