I might be wrong, but don't they base inflation figures etc on certain sectors/tems etc...

maybe they based these inflation figures on food/grocery items that were on special offer;):rotfl: then yes inflation would have been lower, until those items went back up in price

the government are whizzkids at manipulating figures
