Hello
I'm desperate for a bit of info!
How do I get a certificate of Satisfaction for a CCJ for a tenancy check?
MBNA show the debt as satisfied as I was Bankrupt in 2011 but the CCJ is not showing as satisfied yet.
I am raising a complaint against them but need things done quickly.
Many thanks
Helen

You apply to the court.
However, many/most of the courts seem to interpret their regulations as meaning that they can only issue a certificate if the debt has actually been satisfied by making full payment. i.e. that being covered by a bankruptcy does not count.
You can try though. You may be fortunate.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks Fermi
It's so frustrating when companies are slow to update files.
I've just discovered that after sending several letters I can telephone and raise a complaint against their customer services which they seem obliged to resolve.
I've not been asked for a Certifacte of Satisfaction before, so wasn't sure if it was a court document or from a creditor.0
