Certificate of satisfaction of CCJ

Hello

I'm desperate for a bit of info!

How do I get a certificate of Satisfaction for a CCJ for a tenancy check?

MBNA show the debt as satisfied as I was Bankrupt in 2011 but the CCJ is not showing as satisfied yet.

I am raising a complaint against them but need things done quickly.

Many thanks

Helen

    You apply to the court.

However, many/most of the courts seem to interpret their regulations as meaning that they can only issue a certificate if the debt has actually been satisfied by making full payment. i.e. that being covered by a bankruptcy does not count.

You can try though. You may be fortunate.

    Thanks Fermi

It's so frustrating when companies are slow to update files.

I've just discovered that after sending several letters I can telephone and raise a complaint against their customer services which they seem obliged to resolve.

I've not been asked for a Certifacte of Satisfaction before, so wasn't sure if it was a court document or from a creditor.
