Hey all

After posting a request in Site Feedback to get the number of clicks the Expired button needs to move a thread to Game Over reduced, and having the request accepted, now would be a perfect time for us to help ourselves.

There are threads with an end date of E: 15/03 onwards which are still 'live' on the main board. This is not a slight against the BG's, after all they do their job voluntarily and we all really much appreciate the hours they put in, but if you have a spare quarter hour or something, search some comps out and just hit the Expired button, or press it if you just come across a rogue dead comp. If enough of us do it, we shall get the board tidy again and reduce the workload the BG's have, for which I'm sure they'll be grateful

Oooh, there's something very satisfying about clicking expired and then seeing the 'Competitions Time' change to 'Game Over'.

I am very pushed for time at the moment, but will help when I can. The regulars board is also in need of a good spring clean. Though I think that a mop and bucket will be needed for that.

Thats the 150 odd oldest ones done and several went to game over afterwards so it is working.

In IE I open a few in new tabs then go along and "expire" them one after the other so the first one is finished before I go back to close the tabs, is there a quicker way? (board sorted to date order of course)

I hit expired on a lot of twitter comps last night.

On the ones where there's a '?' after the date does anyone know if they're moved over like the rest or do they stay on the main board because there's confusion over the end date?
